AMMOI, short for Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Organisation of India, is an association that represents manufacturers of Ayurvedic medicines in India. It was originally registered as the Kerala Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association in Trichur on 1st August 1984 under Clause XII of the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific, and Charitable Societies Act, 1955. Later, the association changed its name to AMMOI, and the amendments were approved by the General Body during the 4th State Convention held on 23rd January 1999 at Hotel Govardhara, Malampuzha, Palghat.
The primary objective of AMMOI is to serve as the representative body for Ayurvedic medicine manufacturers in India. It aims to promote and protect the interests of its members while upholding the principles and practices of Ayurveda.
Any registered Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing unit in India is eligible to become a member of AMMOI. To join, interested parties must fulfill the membership criteria as outlined in the association's rules and regulations.
